The Lower Mainland of British Columbia is known for two things in the disc golf world, great courses and unpredictable weather. The summer series is usually a sun filled venture, but just as easily you can be teeing off in a deluge. The player’s pack included a compact and handy umbrella. As the event was held at Passive Park in Langley, which on that day was close to 30 degrees (which means 35 at the course), these umbrellas helped keep players in the shade when playing the open holes.
They also came in very handy during the following winter series, which is always rain soaked.
